several actions this Saturday, “we must not stop the fight”

Sidaction is 30 years old and, “although things have evolved a lot, in terms of treatments, screening methods, etc. we must not stop the fight,” explains Antoine Baudry, member of the Cabiria association and the Sidaction associative committee in Lyon.

The money collected during Sidaction helps finance research and aid programs for patients. These actions now concern all ages of life.

“With the French Family Planning movement and SOS Homophobia, we launched an action last year to demand that there really be sexuality education classes because young people have a real lack of knowledge of HIV and often forget it. risk beyond the first report,” continues Antoine Baudry.

Part of the money collected last year also made it possible to finance four associations whose project is to support people infected in the 80s and 90s, now aging with HIV but also comorbidities (cardiovascular or neurological, cancers…).
