My girlfriend contracted HPV despite vaccination. What should I do?

Dear reader,

the vaccine has the function of preventing HPV infections and has no cure function. The vaccine in use is highly effective against the HPV strains it contains, but the possibility of becoming infected with other strains remains. The question does not specify whether the girl was also diagnosed with an injury. Having contracted an HPV infection, in fact, does not necessarily lead to future problems because, fortunately, in most cases the infection is cured. Regarding your question, compatibly with your age, you can ask to be vaccinated: currently the vaccine covers 9 different strains and is offered free of charge to males at least up to 18 years of age.
