Summary. It took Charlotte Peyronnet more than ten years to understand that she couldn’t do without alcohol. This 33-year-old former journalist long believed that she was a bon vivant with a “hell of descent”. Student life, drinks after stressful work days, and all the friendly requests… She had gotten into the habit of never say no to a drinkand not to count the following.

Now sober for almost three years, Charlotte Peyronnet testifies this month in the book “And you, why do you drink? ” (Of Christmas). She recounts the descent into hell which led her to stop drinking. Through her story, she invites everyone to take stock on his way of consuming alcohol.

Testimony collected by Ambre Rosala for Code source.
