2023 life review
It’s a new year in the blink of an eye. Looking back on the year 2023, Malaysia’s overall national economy is making progress while maintaining stability, and no major natural or man-made disasters have occurred. As for the economy, the changes in all walks of life can be said to be mixed.
In the medical field, due to the “decreased severity and fatality rate” of COVID-19 and people’s “numbness and laxity” about various diseases, various diseases, especially those related to the respiratory tract, have become more common. In addition, Recently, COVID-19 has been making a comeback, so overall doctors can be said to be becoming “busier and busier”.
2024 life rules
For the new year of 2024, the author has the following life rules to share with all readers:
1/Integrate resources and live in the present: When it comes to integrating medical resources, it may seem confusing at first glance. Take purchasing a medical card as an example. It is recommended to buy a good medical card (annual fee is about 3 to 6,000 ringgit), with sufficient insurance coverage (such as hundreds of thousands to one million ringgit), and it can also cover various diseases (such as common 36 major injuries) so that you don’t panic when you really need it.
I have seen some patients buy several medical insurances, but each one has many restrictions, or the insurance coverage is limited, so that they are “tied” when seeking medical treatment, which is a pity. As for the phrase “living in the present”, although it is simple and easy to understand, it is often “easier said than done” to do.
This is like when many patients hear that they have been diagnosed with a chronic disease and need to take medication for a long time or even a lifetime, they usually react with anxiety or “refusal to accept”, and then some will “adjust on their own” Stop taking the medicine after a period of time and switch to some folk remedies or folk remedies. If this continues, a greater price will often be spent and the disease is not well controlled. In fact, the correct attitude towards chronic diseases is that you don’t need to think too much, because it is something you can’t worry about.
Besides, although these diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia are chronic diseases, as long as you are willing to work hard to control them, you can still control them and live a normal life after a period of time. The author has treated many patients with chronic diseases. Some people’s condition became stable after taking medicine for a period of time. They can stop taking medicine after adjusting their daily routine, exercise, diet and taking some supplements. Therefore, when facing a disease, do not be defeated by the disease, but overcome the disease. This is what you should do in the present.
2/ Do good deeds and accumulate virtue, and keep fit: Doing good deeds and accumulating virtue here are not limited to external behaviors such as donating money or volunteering, but refer to having kind thoughts in your heart at all times and showing them in your life such as joy. Help others, be kind to animals, etc. I have seen volunteers from some charity groups. These people are willing to serve the public and rarely get sick.
Perhaps it is because the physical and mental functions are in harmony, the mood is stable, the immune and metabolic functions are preserved, and naturally it is not easy to get sick. Of course, if you can do a moderate amount of exercise to promote metabolism and increase immunity, combined with the usual mentality of doing good deeds and accumulating virtue, there should be a “one plus one is greater than two” effect.
3/Low-key joy and walking with God: As age increases and wealth accumulates, a person will gain more material enjoyment. Although there is nothing wrong with this, if you place your spirit on material enjoyment, you will easily lose your way and worry about gains and losses. At this time, you should turn to the pursuit of spiritual satisfaction and live a low-key life that is comfortable regardless of wealth or scarcity. Simply put, it means cultivating a pure, poor, simple and simple state of mind.
Having said that, it is not easy to achieve this state of mind by yourself. At this time, you need the power of faith. Through the power of faith, coupled with the thought of doing good deeds and accumulating virtue, and being dedicated to good deeds, this power of walking with “God” can not only maintain a healthy mind, but also have an “awe-inspiring aura” that can sometimes resolve or heal physical problems. Sickness and pain are things that we still find difficult to understand and accept using scientific logic.
Create greater glory in 2024
Although these few sentences “Integrate resources, live in the present, do good deeds and accumulate virtue, keep fit, be low-key and joyful, and walk with God” may seem simple, but they are full of philosophy and can serve as lessons for us throughout our lives.
Finally, I wish all readers can find positive energy from this article and “start over and create greater glory” in 2024.
